Skateboard Magazine Spreads

The focus of this project was to let go of layout rules and focus on creating skateboard magazine spreads that are purely aesthetic. Using David Carson’s work as inspiration, I created these spreads with the idea of skateboarding rebels and rejecting standard grid structure. The colors chosen were to contrast the greyscale photographs and to emulate the aesthetic of street art.
